Since July 2012, he has worked at the Beijing Key Laboratory of Lignocellulosic Chemistry at Beijing Forestry University. He has focused on the pretreatment, efficient fractionation, and high-value utilization of lignocellulosic materials for sustainable biofuels and biomaterials.
He has also collaborated closely with industrial companies for the conversion of lignin into environmentally friendly wood adhesives and other sustainable biomaterials.
He has published 82 papers in international peer reviewed journals in English. As invited author, he wrote 6 chapters in 6 books. |

Central South University of Forestry and Technology holds the director of the Green Home Engineering Technology Research Center of Hunan Province, head of industrial design engineering. Selected as a distinguished Professor of high-end talents of "Tree Scholar", new century talent of the Ministry of Education, state-sponsored visiting scholar, the first "innovative talent" of the State Forestry and Grassland Administration , outstanding young man from Hunan Province, new century "121" talent project and young backbone teacher of Hunan Province, special expert support plan of Xiang-xi, to take additional post of secretary general of customized home national innovation alliance, and vice President of traditional Chinese furniture.
Scientific research and academic achievements:
Hosted more than 20 projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation and the National Public Welfare Industry. Published more than 100 research papers in academic journals at home and abroad, among which more than 60 are included in SCI/EI. Edited and participated in 5 textbooks. Authorized more than 20 national invention patents. Won more than 10 teaching and research awards (honors), such as China youth science and technology award, China forestry youth science and technology award, first prize of Hunan Province science and technology progress award, and first prize of China industry-university-research cooperation innovation achievement award. |

PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology (Imperial College London, UK)
She is now a tenured Associate Professor in Universiti Malaysia Terengganu and a Certified Professional Technologist in Biotechnology by the Malaysia Board of Technologists. Her research works spans across multiple disciplines in molecular signaling of cells towards environmental constraints, metabolites profiling and utilization of plant materials in biomass waste. She is involved in projects with grants amounting to approximately RM 1.8 Million and those works have been published in 30 SCI indexed journals. Through the works, she manages to promote and help local communities in implementing sustainable farming practices.

Received the PHD degree from Zhejiang Unversity in 2016. Her major research direction is bioremediation of organic pollution in soil.
Recently, she is doing the research on the project of “The mechanisms of synergetic biodegradation and migration during phenanthrene bioremediation in soil by fungus-bacterium co-culture”, which is supported by “Youth Program of National Natural Science Foundation of China”.
